An unbelievable hit that will help us remember the 2007-08 College Football Season
Tulsa beat Bolwling Green 63-7 in this bowl game. Betting on this year's bowl games was down due to the horrible matchups that were set up by the bowl committees.

Ray Rice to enter the NFL Draft
SCARLETKNIGHTS.COM reports that the International Bowl victory marked the last collegiate game for Rice, as the Rutgers RB will forgo his senior season and declare for the 2008 Draft.
Rice states, “I felt the time is right to pursue the opportunity to play at the next level,” but thanked coach Greg Schiano and the Rutgers community for their “tremendous support“.
There wasn’t much left for Ray to pursue in Piscataway anyway, after setting 13 school records in his Scarlet Knights career - such as becoming the first Rutgers & Big East Conference player to rush for 2,000 yards in a season.
The NFL team that lands this bull will be serious team to consider every week when betting on football next season.

Romo is just begging to lose next week....
The apparent original poster of the photos, Flynetonline, claims that the pics are of “Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo vacationing in Mexico yesterday along with some of Romo’s fellow football players and Jessica’s parents.”
In one of the photos, one of those apparent “fellow football players” has the binocs out in the direction of the paparazzi’s cameras - as if to say, “uh, what’s are you guys doing here?”
When betting on the Dallas Cowboys you need to hope Romo has his head in the game and not in Jessica.....

SUNY Student Arrested For Selling Anti-Isiah Shirts
The NEW YORK DAILY NEWS reports that the 22-year-old SUNY Geneseo student was hauled away in handcuffs while trying to peddle his wares to the weary Knicks populace outside Madison Square Garden Wednesday night. The orange shirts featured the face of Isiah Thomas with the words “Don’t Hate The Player or The Game; Hate The Coach.”
Cash was held in a Midtown jail for three hours until after the Knicks lost to Sacramento, then was then given a ticket for “intent to sell” and released. If the game was on TV in his cell, Ivan might want to sue for cruel & unusual punishment.
Strangely, Cash had previously sold the shirts outside MSG without any problems: “The police came up to me at every game before and asked me what I was doing. I told them. They shrugged, and that was that.”

Keyshawn Johnson To Reunite With Bill Parcells?
Jeff Darlington of the Herald: “Former Pro Bowl wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson has not ruled out the possibility of making a comeback to play specifically in Miami for Parcells, a mentor and close friend.
“In an e-mail to The Miami Herald, agent Jerome Stanley said Johnson remains in ‘great shape’ while also remaining close to Parcells, who coached Johnson with the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys.
Stanley said, ”I speak to Keyshawn daily about all aspects of his career, he is very close to Coach Parcells and is in great shape IF he chose to play next year. Miami could use a good tough veteran like Key to help the current crop of young receivers develop.”
Johnson, who last played in 2006 for Carolina, toiled for Bill Parcells in New York with the Jets and Dallas with the Cowboys. It is interesting to note that Johnson had nothing to say in print about the possibility (so when Parcells laughs it off he can blame the story cropping up on Stanley).
Needless to say, Parcells is not quoted in the piece either, else there would be no story.

Carson Curses Coaches About Bengals’ Bungling
The CINCINNATI ENQUIRER hears the complaints from the crabby QB during a Monday meeting with the media.
Palmer told the press how his team needs to put their dismal 2007 season behind them, and come back next year with more discipline and focus. But when asked if the current coaches could do it, Carson repiled, “I don’t think so.”
Palmer further suggested that some staff should be shuffled off. Will it actually happen? Carson responded, “I don’t make those decisions. I play quarterback.”
The ex-USC slinger had even more venting to do: “I think the amount of sleep I lost this year. I think I’ve aged. I’m 28 going on 34. I think I lost a couple years….Times I felt sick to my stomach and I didn’t have the flu.”
Anyway, the frustration seems to be a new miserable experience for Palmer: “This is my most disappointing year of any sports, junior Pop Warner to T-ball to now.”
Maybe the Heisman winner can convince the NFL to let the Bengals schedule some lightweights like his former Trojans face, such as Stanford.
Just remember, when Football Betting and the Cincy Bengals are involved, always take the Over and bet against the Bengals. It may be the easiest way to avoid the betting jinx in football.
